Getty ImagesWith the NBA trade deadline behind us, it’s officially #BuyoutSZN for the Milwaukee Bucks.
A few years ago, Milwaukee was never thought of as a legitimate contender for veterans who were released at this point in the season. It was more of a pipe dream. However, since the arrival of Mike Budenholzer and the rise of Giannis Antetokounmpo Milwaukee annually participates in this tradition. Since 2018, they’ve signed guys such as Pau Gasol, Marvin Williams, Jeff Teague, DeAndre Bembry and Jevon Carter to varying degrees of success. Buyout candidates are usually big names well past their prime. However, they can occasionally be very helpful (see Jevon Carter).
In the last of a three-part series that previously featured eight guards and five wings the Bucks could sign on the buyout market, I turn our attention to the bigs.
Dario Saric
A 29-years-old, Saric should still have some juice left in those legs of his. He was recently traded from the Suns to the Thunder and could be waived as a result. He could play either frontcourt position for the Bucks and should fit in nicely. He can still space the floor, rebound some and avoid being a complete liability on defense.
Dewayne Dedmon
Buyout candidates are often big names with little games. Dedmon might fit that category. He’s looked washed this season, but could be useful to the Bucks. Milwaukee lacks a fourth big behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis. That could be an issue in the postseason if one of them goes down with an injury. Dedmon is a big body who can rebound, hit the occasional three and can bump against someone like Joel Embiid in an emergency situation.
Kevin Love
Love has fallen off a cliff this season and barely plays for the Cavaliers any more. He’s stuck with the franchise through thick and thin and will likely finish the season there. However, in the small chance he gets bought out, Milwaukee could give him a call.
DeAndre Jordan
The Nuggets just acquired Thomas Bryant at the trade deadline and could waive Jordan as a way to save some money on the luxury tax. Jordan has flirted with a spot in the Nuggets’ rotation all season and could serve as that fourth big the Bucks need. He’d be most helpful against Embiid and the 76ers in case Lopez gets hurt or gets into foul trouble.
Nerlens Noel
Noel was already buried on the Pistons’ bench before they acquired James Wiseman from the Warriors. Now, he’ll be hard-pressed to find any playing time in Detroit. He’s probably the best and most active shot-blocker on this list. His defensive abilities would give Milwaukee some flexibility off their bench.
Thaddeus Young
Once upon a time, Young was labeled as a Giannis-Stopper thanks to a couple of decent games against him. That seems like a different lifetime ago. He has $1 million guaranteed next year, but the Raptors just traded for Jakob Poeltl and Precious Achiuwa is returning from an injury. He is a tweener, but would be a better fourth big than the Bucks currently have.
Alex Len
I’m not sure how much help Len would provide to Milwaukee. He hasn’t been able to crack the rotation in Sacramento and would do the same for the Bucks. He’d just be a warm, seven-foot body to sit on the bench in case of emergencies.
Frank Kaminsky
This would be fun to see for Wisconsin fans. Kaminsky was a star at the University of Wisconsin and a reunion with the state would be admirable. Kaminsky has a flash of that offensive prowess that made him a collegiate stud every now and then, but can’t come anywhere close to sustaining it. He’d be the most fun addition on this list.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much are players paid in NBA?
The NBA average salary for 2021-2022 is $7.3 million. This figure is based the maximum salary cap of $134million, which was set in this season. However, the salaries of individual players can vary depending upon their experiences and achievements.
Kevin Durant and LeBron James are superstar players who can make upwards of $40 million per year. Rookies, on the other hand, may only earn $898,310. Other veteran players could be eligible for exception salaries that range from $4.76million to $9.258million, depending on how many years they have been playing. Who invented basketball
While the origins of basketball are not known, many believe that James Naismith invented it in 1891, while he was a teacher at Springfield College, now the International Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), Training School. Naismith invented the basic rules of basketball and put a peach basket on an elevated track. He then divided his class of 18 into nine teams and started to teach the basics of his new game called "Basket Ball." The original version used a soccer ball, and two peach baskets tacked to either end of a gymnasium. Players could only shoot at the basket from below; goaltending was not yet a part of the game. The game spread rapidly across America. In the early 1900s, professional basketball teams were playing in large arenas. Today, it is one of the most popular sports in the world.
What is the difference between a technical foul and a flagrant foul?
A technical foul in NBA refers to any unsportsmanlike behavior. This includes arguing with officials or excessive celebrating. A technical foul allows you to make one free throw, while the opposing team can also take possession of your ball.
A flagrant foul is assessed when a player commits violent or excessively aggressive contact against another player. It will result in the opposition team being given two free throws and taking possession of your ball. Flagrant fouls can be classified into two categories: Flagrant one or Flagrant 2. Flagrant one is a lesser offense than Flagrant 2 and doesn't result in an ejection.
A personal foul refers to any contact that is illegal between two players. This usually refers to illegal hand-checking, pushing, pushing, or tripping an opponent. Personal fouls can also result in free throw attempts and possession of the ball for the opposing team. Personal fouls don't necessarily indicate unsportsmanlike behaviour, but they are different from technical fouls or flagrant fouls.
In the NBA, all fouls can result in free throw attempts or possession of the ball for the opposing team. The intent behind the foul and the severity and nature of the contact are what distinguish between technical fouls from flagrant and personal fouls.
Who holds the record of the most consecutive NBA playoff wins?
LeBron Jam is the leading figure in the NBA Playoffs history with 174 wins and 266 games, so it's no surprise that he's one of the most sought after basketball players.
What is a Trade Exemption in NBA Basketball?
In the NBA, there is a trade exception that allows players to be traded away. This exception allows teams acquire players whose salary is higher than what they traded away. The exception is available to a team over multiple seasons. It does not count against their salary cap, luxury tax threshold, or other restrictions. Trade exceptions allow teams to change their rosters and not have to reduce their salaries. This allows teams to maintain a level playing field and prevent unfair financial advantage situations.
It also helps keep the league financially stable and ensures that teams have the flexibility to make moves without having to worry about being able to afford them. Trade exceptions can be used to help teams win championships and are an essential part in roster construction.
What is the NBA salary limit?
The NBA salary cap sets a maximum salary that each team can pay. The league determines the salary limit each year. It's designed to prevent teams from signing multiple high priced players, creating unfair advantages and ensuring parity among teams. Teams must stay under the cap to sign free agents or make trades. They can go above it if certain exceptions are made, such as offering Bird rights to players or signing them a contract with a portion taken out of the salary cap and the rest as a bonus. The league's salary cap plays an important role in ensuring a balanced playing field between teams.
Who is the greatest free throw shooter?
It is a question that is often debated by basketball fans. However, most agree that Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors is undoubtedly the greatest free-throw sapper of all time. This amazing player held the record for most 3-point converts in a single season with an unbelievable 402.
Karl Malone currently holds a record for the most free throws made over a career with 9,787 success shots. At 13,188 attempts, he has attempted 74.20% of all free throws.

How To
How an NBA Getty Images Photographer Captures Perfect Shots
This article will show you how a NBA Getty Images photographer can capture the perfect shot. First, choose the best location. Next, pick the best angle from where to shoot your photograph. Finally, you must anticipate what might happen next.
- Step 1: Selecting the right location
The best place and time for a photo to be taken is crucial in order to get the most from it. If there is too much activity around you, you risk losing the moment if something happens during the exposure. It is important to not have people blocking your view. Try to find a spot in which they will not be able see you taking photographs.
You can start taking pictures as soon as you find a good spot. It's easier to get closer than further away from the action.
- Step2: Finding the Best Angle
After you've found the ideal location, consider the angle. This is the most important aspect of capturing a great photo.
Choose a position that gives you a clear view of the subject matter without getting in the way of anything happening. For example, look at him through the basket hoop if you're trying to catch a basketball player doing a layup. This will give you an excellent frame, without any obstructions.
Next, look for interesting angles. Look for angles that highlight something special about the athlete. His height can be shown by a low angle while his athleticism can be seen through a higher angle.
The last is framing. Framing is how things are placed within a frame. When choosing the right composition, remember to balance the foreground (what's closest to the lens) with the background (everything else).
- Step3: Anticipating Next What
Always think ahead. Always be on the lookout for unusual situations, such as someone diving into the lanes or a ball rolling towards he rim. You need to be ready to quickly react. You can quickly call "action" or cut.
After you hear these words, freeze the scene. You can then wait for the action again before moving on. The scene will be frozen so that you can focus on the shutter button.
You'll always get the best shot by following these steps. You can master the art of being a NBA Getty Images photographer with patience and practice. The result will be stunning photos that last a lifetime.
